Erika Rosso has been creating art since she was a young child and found her true calling when she took a Watercolor Class at College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine. She continued to work with watercolor artist and teacher, Joanne Carpenter, at the college until she graduated in 2005 with a BA in Human Ecology. After COA, she traveled to Sedona, AZ to take several painting workshops at the Sedona School of Art and later became a certified Yoga Instructor at the Minneapolis Yoga Institute.
Rosso’s paintings are informed by nature, the human figure and her imagination. Her work often combine these three elements to convey a message or dream like vision. Rosso currently resides in Southwest Harbor, Maine with her family where she teaches art and yoga.
